CC Ran Remote Automounter AutomounterTraining
WorkDescription: Comments: We will not be performing energy scans, and therefore are fine with the multi-layer monochromator in place.
Hello Azer (or Diane):
I’m Gordon Louie, from the Chemical Biology and Proteomics Lab (CBPL) at the
Salk Institute. We will be using BL8.2.1, starting Wednesday (May 27) at 2
PM. I believe from the posted schedules that you are our initial support
person.
I wanted to let you know about the pucks to be loaded Wednesday afternoon. We
are using seven pucks in total, labeled CBPL-001 through CBPL-007. These are
loaded in our shipping puck-carrier from bottom to top. We would like the
following five pucks to be mounted initially in the automounter dewar --
CBPL-002, 004, 005, 006, and 007 (exclude CBPL-001 and 003 initially), please.
Also, we are fine with the multi-layer monochromator (we aren't doing any
wavelength scans).
You can just reply to this E-mail when the beamline is ready to use Wednesday.
If you need to speak to us during the setup period, you can reach us at our
lab number (858-453-4100 Ext 1946), or alternatively my cell phone
(760-613-5359).
Thanks so much for your help!
Gordon
